This Sunday on the coast highway in Catalonia, the toll will cease to exist. Road traffic will be diverted to the highway leaving an underused road that could be converted, for example, into a safe bicycle lane.
The EV8 route between Sils and Ulldecona (Spain) is yet to be designed. Should this route go through areas with excess tourism (coast) or should it go inland, to encourage sustainable tourism? Or both?
