You have the whole track in gpx on the page.
Look in the Eurovelo3 menu "proposals and tracks".
There you will find tracks from Norway to Spain.
All the best, we keep in contact.

Hi Patrice,

No problem. It's nice to read you again...

Firstly, it is difficult to know if the whole route is well-signed. I am sure it is not. Is is the real/official route? It is difficult to know as well. I got the track some years ago.

If you try to look for tracks in official page eurovelo.com or eurovelo.org there are no tracks on it. Eurovelo in some way is really new. The idea appeared for more than 10 years but in the end, it depends on every country. Possibly, I could write a book....

I could say you that EV3 in Spain in the same that one of the official pilgrims path to Santiago de Compostela. Plenty of peolple walking and cycling. You must follow signs like attached files.... There are no EV3 signs.

The rest of the route... I have no idea how is signed. I hope somebody could provide some real information (real=ride or cycled in person). That is why I opened this page. Trying to concentrate real information.

So, cycle the whole EV3 is a really ADVENTURE, for sure. I would try to follow the track you downloaded.

Refuel? What do you mean refuel? Fill your deposit/tank for cooking in a petrol station? I cycle EV12, from Norway to Scotland. Then I know a little bit Norway. Yes, you can fill your tank, but some times there a minimum account of petrol. 5€ or 5 NOK. Sometimes, they don't want you fill in your small tank. Then, it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission. Tricky moment.

Best way to get Trondheim?  Trondheim has a small airpot then.....

I am from Barcelona. I have checked there is a direct flight Barcelona-Trondheim with Norwegian Airlines. From France, I found only one airport with direct flights to Trondheim and it is really expensive. It is Nice airport. I do not know where is your starting point. I suppose it colud be interesting going from Paris to Oslo. There, you must change to Trondheim. From Oslo there are lots of flights to Trondheim.

My cycle. I used a hybrid or trekking cycle. A kalkoff with a schwalbe marathon wheel (anti-puncture).

Well... more or less is the information I can give you. If someone has more information for Patrice.

All the best Patrice. If you need further information, you can write in this forum.

Hi Fordfo

Good evening
Ok I understand but in this case where do the GPS tracks come from that we found on your website?
In fact the difficulty would seem to be in Norway, Sweden and Denmark

On the EV3 website they recommend to buy maps from Freytag and Berndt for the part Norway, Sweden and Denmark

France is ok and Spain too (camino de compostela)

I'll give you further informations in october. In fact two members from the EV3 association organize a ride from Trondheim to Hamburg to recognize the way

Have a good WE

How is the weather like in Barcelona. Hier in France it's really hot. For the next week the weather forecast for PAris ans around is between 38 and 40°C 😰

@patrice77

hi Patrice. Then, if they recommend to buy some maps, buy them?  If you have ISBN, please you can write this info in the forum.

For exemple,  I bought all EV12 maps. They were necessary and on the other hand, I love paper maps! ! As I said you, Eurovelo is "under construction". I remenber in Sweden, we cycled more than 400KMS, we found only two signals. In facrt, they were about NSCR. EV12 was called North Sea Cycle Route.

Yesterday in Barcelona was raining, so today we can stand with the temperature. I suppose tomorrow will be another nightmare. Hot, really hot. jjjjjj.

Have good WE.

If you don't mind, I encourage and apreciate you to load some pictures in facebook and #eurovelomeetingpoint (instagram), about cycling and cycling on Eurovelos. Thank you.

All the best.

Hi Fordfo

Not yet. I have contacted the Tourist Office near Trondheim and I am waiting for a reply

There is a site : Visitnorway. There is a lot of informations about EV3 in it but it seems that the way in Norway as in Sweden is not totally identified

A french couple is doing a reconnaissance of the EV3. They began their ride in June and come back in october or november

As soon as I get any information I send it to you

Have a good day

Patrice
